The official news is that former MOTORHEAD guitarist Fast Eddie Clarke died peacefully in a hospital after suffering from pneumonia. He was 67.
As far as I'm concerned yes Clarke was also in FASTWAY but he'll always be remembered by me as being part of the greatest era of MOTORHEAD aka: 1977 to 1982. Yeah the classic line-up which produced the albums Overkill, Ace of Spades, Bomber, the Self Titled LP, Iron Fist and On Parole. You can also toss in the live album No Sleep Til Hammersmith if you're inclined.
But yeah it was these three guys who were the greatest era of the band and now they're together again. It probably looks something like this:
Remember people as long as you keep their memories alive then they're never really gone. Nuff Said.
